November Kaisercraft pages.

My latest Kaisercraft post went life yesterday.  Posting it here as well.

Hello Kaisercraft fans.  Leonie Neal-Dawson with you today sharing the first of many inspiration posts this month by our design team, using our newest collections, Sail Away and Provincial.
Sail Away Paper Collection
Sail Away is a great collection to scrap your beach themed photo’s, or any nautical inspired photo’s.  It has wonderful earthy colours and textures of woodgrain and ropes plus bright pops of red and blue.
I chose to scrap some photo’s from a recent beach holiday on this first page.

Our Seaside Escape by Leonie Neal-Dawson

To begin with I used the gorgeous woodgrain of the Lighthouse and muted sky tones of the Ship papers as my base.  I layered some of the papers from the 6 1/2″ paper pad behind my photo’s and and added one of our wooden frames and a paper doiliey.

My niece is member of the Royal Australian Navy so for this next page I drew  heavily on the nautical anchor and compass images in the Sail Away papers and scrapped some pictures of her and my Son taken last Anzac Day.

Ahoy Matey by Leonie Neal-Dawson
Sticking with all blue on this page I began with some blue inks and stencilled the Anchor image from the the November release Template, Nautical Quarters.  I also used the Anchors C6 Decorative Die and created a banner by threading the die cut anchors onto a length of cotton.

Provincial Paper Collection
Lastly today I have a scrapbook layout with the Provincial collection.  I love the classic patterns in this range.  Postmarks, pressed metal and lace.  They all look great with the pretty shabby chic florals.

On the background Hydrangea paper I used another of our new release templates the Floral Quarters and stencilled with some texture paste, added splashes of Lime Green KaiserMist and finished off with stamping from the Provincial clear stamp set.
