So here is the Scrapbook page I made combining some Chipboard from Imaginarium and Dies/embossing folders from Couture Creations!

To make the silver frames I covered some card stock with tin foil just gluing it on with a glue stick then when it was dry I put it through my die-cutting machine using the cute little frame die
The foliage I used is actually a tree die cut from white card stock and coloured with paint dabbers. I then just snipped off the trees' trunk and tucked it behind my photo.

This starburst is an Imaginarium Designs Chipboard piece that I've painted green and then sprinkled with glitter.

I used the same tin foil stuck/card stock technique to make the frame around my photo.
This time though I used an embossing folder to create some lovely texture then cut out the centre square to form a frame.
I cut three of the Discover words from card stock before gluing them together to add some height to the title so it was the same thickness as the 'Today' Chipboard piece.

Amy Tangerine - Yes Please

Hey scrappy friends and bloggers.
Just popping in to share a page a created a few weeks ago now and have just not
had a chance to get around to sharing it here on my blog.

It's another page from my creative weekend at Escape 2 Create.
I met this lovely, gorgeous girl-  Anna Allan
It was just a hilarious fun time had at our table!

I've been hoarding this glittery chevron paper for quite some time
so it was definitely time to scrap with it and I'm really happy with how
the page turned out.

Lots of layers using the bright and pretty Amy Tangerine - Yes Please range.

Thanks for stopping by hope you like this page.

D'Lish Scraps Cybercrop Challenge no. 8

What a week it's been doing these challenges done for the cybercrop at D'lish Scraps.
It's really kick started my mojo, and just in time too because I thought it
may have disappeared altogether!!
So thanks D'Lish!

I quite like this technique 'Painting with plastic'
I used Gelatos, Dylusions and Distress stains to create the background on this page.

The D'Lish products I used include the little resin rose.

Along with this Freckled Fawn paperclip.

And this wooden button from D'Lish Scraps which actually has a pretty coloured pattern on the front
but it didn't match my boy page so I flipped it over to have the reverse side showing.

 Thanks for dropping by. :)

D'Lish Scraps Cybercrop Challenge No.4

Hello Bloggers, I can't believe I'm back for my fifth post in the past week.
It's all thanks to the fab inspiration from D'Lish Scraps Cybercrop.

I've had a lot of fun putting these pages together and I was very happy to see
this rainbow mood board as Challenge no. 4.

Here's my take on the mood board.

I posted this picture on Instagram a couple of days ago.
taken while I was creating this page.
Recreating Rainbows are just so much fun!!

The words on the page are fussy cut from the Basic Grey Highline Collection.
The wire is from D'Lish Scraps Shop as are some of the washi Tapes I've used.

thanks so much for stopping by my blog.
I have one more share from the Cybercrop to share so I'll be back tomorrow with
that one.

D'Lish Scraps CyberCrop Challenge no. 3

Just stopping in to share challenge no. 3 for the D'lish Scraps Cyber Challenge.

So this is my page using some Crate Paper - Maggie Holmes patterned papers.

And the five different types of flowers-
I've got a Cherry Blossom, roses, Carnations, a Cosmos Daisy and some resin roses.
All from the D'Lish store.

I have at least one more share from the cybercrop not sure if I'll get any more done after that.
It's been a heap of fun so far though and very inspiring.
Thanks D'Lish Scraps.
